Search engine placement

Getting onto the Internet is pretty simple really; buy a domain, find a company to design a website and get some hosting. However once you get your site into a sea of millions of other sites, how does your website get found?

It's a question that's infuriated many and there are many people out there who claim they can get your site on thousands of search engines. It's possibly true. Unfortunately, 95% of your potential customers don't use those thousands of search engines, they use about 10 of them and it's not very easy to get on them. There is no magic software. It comes down to optimising the web site and having great content.

In order for your website to find it's way onto into the search engine results of your potential customers, it needs to be designed in a way that is attractive to search engine "robots". This is a two step process which means making your site easy to navigate first of all and more importantly, worth reading.
